Plums and a gentle hint of spice on the nose lead on to a palate rich with cherries and ripe fruit. Smooth, soft tannins complement and carry the fruit, allowing this 100% estate-grown shiraz to show a finesse and depth usually found in older wines. The wine completed over 18 months' maturation in French and American oak barriques. Approachable now, this shiraz will develop in complexity and reveal hidden nuances with five to ten years of careful cellaring. Alc./Vol. 15.4%
